l In charge of RNC product testing (UTRAN) for
WCDMA access network.
l E2E testing focus on signaling and user data, find out the bugs in
software.
WCDMA UTRAN testing includes:
1.Network element upgrade include: RNC
upgrade, OMS upgrade and NODE-B upgrade
2.TI testing: a Test Image for the bug in
software to be verified pass or not during Integration testing.
3.Manual Test case running, using Nokia test
phone to verify the function of WCDMA access network, found bugs and
feedback to the designer for correction.
Oversea supporting experience: In 2009, I travelled to Indonesia to support
the field engineer for a RNC upgrade process for Indosat, one of the
biggest telecom carriers in Indonesia.

automated TCs), raise issues to improve software product quality so as to
meet the customer’s satisfaction.

Achievements:
1. Sagem handset IOT testing on GSMR network:
(1)Using the real mobile for testing, monitor
and verify the signaling message. Find out dozen bugs for designer to
fix. One bug was found per 5 test cases.
(2)Successfully demonstrated the functions of
Nortel’s GSMR network to the China Railway government officer, which made
Nortel became the winning bidder of the GSMR provider of Qinghai-Tibet
railway.
2. Prime for MSCS20 FG03 A00017255 feature testing.
Worked together with Matt (Murphy, Matthew) who was in Richardson,
USA. Wrote and executed 26 test cases, 5 CRs(issues) were found, valid CR
rate was 100%. 1 CR was raised every 5.2 test cases. It’s more
efficient comparing to the 1CR found every 10 test cases in Richardson
Lab.
